Though most people consider the Mexican Sour Gherkin (Melothria Scobra) to be part of the cucumber family, it actually belongs to the Melothria family. Though it looks much like a tiny watermelon and goes by nicknames such as cucamelon, mouse melon, and little watermelon.

From Then to Now
Seed Needs was started to help family and friends. We grew alongside Amazon from the beginning! We have successfully shipped over 10 million seed packets and more than a million orders!
The Filling Process
Started out with hand filling all seed packets, but in 2017, we incorporated machines. The machines have allowed us to offer more variety and a more cost-effective method compared to hand filling.

The seeds are fresh, directly from the growers, and packaged in tear-resistant and moisture-resistant packaging to keep them fresher.
